Cinda Christian, University of Texas at Austin

Cinda Christian, University of Texas at Austin Cinda Christian, Ph.D., serves as Executive Director of Research Collaborations and Impact in the Office of the Vice President for Research, Scholarship, and Creative Endeavors at The University of Texas at Austin. In this role, she provides strategic leadership for UT’s interdisciplinary Grand Challenges: Good Systems, Planet Texas 2050, and Whole Communities–Whole Health. She also oversees initiatives that strengthen research capacity and foster interdisciplinary collaboration, including skill building workshops for principal investigators and strategic partnerships with the City of Austin, Sandia National Laboratories, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. She earned her doctorate in Human Development and Family Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin and previously directed research and evaluation for Austin Independent School District. Her professional experience spans program evaluation, public speaking, professional development facilitation, and teaching at both preschool and college levels. She has presented research at regional, national, and international conferences and is a published author of institutional reports, book chapters, and peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr. Christian is passionate about collaborative research facilitation, methodology, data visualization, and the interrogation of sticky problems.
